IT has not only revolutionized our work place, but has also eliminated the barriers of time and distance. Advances in chip technologies and communication media have increased the speed and bandwidth for communication, at the same time reducing its size & cost significantly. IT has made a huge difference to the way we live and communicate. IT is the mantra of the new age.
Realizing the need for preparing budding professionals to face new challenges in the IT influenced world order, special courses have been designed and developed. Master of Computer Applications (MCA) is one of such course, which is very popular among those who want to pursue IT Profession at advanced level.
MCA trains students to acquire logical thinking. The bias of the curriculum is towards industry oriented applications which reduces the preparation time required for an MCA degree holder to become productive in an industry.
Research has revealed that MCA degree holders are among the most successful IT professionals within the country and abroad. Their ability to understand user needs and to convert them into applications has reduced the life cycle of development and implementation of applications.
