We, the students of MBA and MCA got this opportunity to visit the leading automobile company of India which is Maruti Udyog private limited., Gurgaon Maruti Company has their factories in various parts of the country but we got the opportunity to visit the Gurgaon factory which has 3 plants.

Recently, they have also opened a factory at Manesar in an area of 600 acres and the production capacity at Manesar is 3lakhs car per annum but the company intends to increase the capacityupto 5lakhs per annum. It manufactures cars like swift diesel & petrol, sx4, a- star .Wheareas, the Gurgaon factory is spreaded in 297 acres of landand has a production capacity of 7lakhs cars per annum.Maruti supplies its cars in 5 continents and more than 116countries.Maruti is also considered to be the number 1 brand of producing small cars.Maruti has more than 7,00,000 million cars running on the roads presently.Around 2.20 pm, we reached the facory and were settled downin the H.R.Division Mr.Vijay Malhotra was our guide who introduced us to the company trainees. we were shown the power point presentation under which—
